The academic dress for the Doctor of Philosophy and other doctoral degrees shall be a master's gown of black cloth as follows:

Doctor of Philosophy awarded by the Australian Graduate School of Management for continuing University of Sydney students only, as the joint venture has been terminated

• Hood of old gold silk with black stripes to a width of 6.5cm to design, with a black neckband and lined with cherry silk
  and gown faced to a width of 15cm with cherry cloth
• Black velvet bonnet with red cord
