Higher Doctors Hood - Faculty of Education and Social Work

To ensure you graduate with the correct regalia, select your Higher Doctorate degree.

The academic dress for higher doctorates shall be a black velvet bonnet with gold cord, and a festal gown and hood of scarlet cloth, lined and faced as follows:

• Doctor of Letters in Education - hood lined with white silk
  and gown faced with white silk
• Doctor of Letters in Social Work - hood lined with royal blue silk edged to a depth of 5cm with white silk
  and gown faced with royal blue silk
