Masters Hood - Faculty of Dentistry

To ensure you graduate with the correct regalia, select your masters degree.

The academic dress for masters shall be a gown similar to that worn by graduates holding the degree of Master of Arts in the University of Oxford or of Cambridge, a black cloth trencher cap, and a hood of black silk, lined as follows:

• Master of Dental Science - hood lined with cream silk and edged to a depth of 5cm with purple silk
• Master of Dental Surgery - lined with purple silk and edged to a depth of 5cm with cream silk
• Master of Science in Dentistry - lined with cream silk, then edged to a depth of 5cm with purple silk, then edged to a depth of 5cm with gold silk
