Masters Hood - Faculty of Education and Social Work

To ensure you graduate with the correct regalia, select your masters degree.

The academic dress for masters shall be a gown similar to that worn by graduates holding the degree of Master of Arts in the University of Oxford or of Cambridge, a black cloth trencher cap, and a hood of black silk, lined as follows:

• Master of Education - hood lined with white silk
• Master of Learning Science and Technology - lined with white silk and edged to a depth of 5cm with peony red silk
• Master of Philosophy in Education - lined with white silk and edged to a depth of 5cm with crushed strawberry silk
• Master of Policy Studies - lined with peony red silk and edged to a depth of 5cm with moss green silk
• Master of Social Work - lined with white silk and edged with royal blue silk
• Master of Teaching - lined with crushed strawberry silk
